IslamPixel can be used without an account. No microphone, voice recordings, real name or email is needed.
Guest progress on this device
Counters, collected worlds, favorites, visited learning stops and display settings are saved in this browser. Clearing browser data removes guest progress. The www and non-www hosts have separate browser storage; keep using your usual host or restore a saved profile to carry your journey.
Saved profiles
A profile stores your nickname, gender/avatar family, avatar style and color, assigned country and time zone, counters, collection summaries, favorites, visited learning stops, activity totals, goal and device sessions. Gender selects an avatar family and is available to the owner for profile administration and filtering.
Country and time zone are assigned from a local connection lookup at signup. This can be inaccurate for VPNs or travel. The lookup includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind.
Recent daily aggregates are bounded to roughly 35 days; total scores, streaks, collection summaries and saved profile settings persist. The service keeps limited recent action identifiers and timing information for duplicate protection and rate limits, rather than a permanent record of every tap. Expired device sessions and temporary rate-limit entries are cleaned up.
Public leaderboard choices
New profiles start private. You may opt into public leaderboards in Profile Settings, and separately choose whether to show your country. A participating profile can show its nickname, avatar, participation totals and country if enabled. Avatar-family data is included to render the portrait. Existing profiles keep their saved participation choice until changed.
Private profiles are excluded from public rankings and public community totals. Points and streaks describe app participation, never faith or spiritual reward.
Recovery and owner access
Your recovery key gives access to your profile. Keep the recovery card private. Login uses a hash of the key; an encrypted copy also allows authorized owner recovery. The owner can administer profiles, correct assigned location, revoke devices and delete profiles. Significant owner actions are audited, with audit retention bounded to 90 days or 10,000 entries.
Signing out removes this browser’s profile session; it does not delete the stored profile. Read the recovery guide before clearing browser data. A public username alone is not proof of ownership.
Optional usage analytics
Usage analytics is off until you enable it in Settings. If enabled, Google Analytics receives allowlisted screen/category/mission navigation events. The site supplies a root-only page location and excludes recovery keys, profile names, recitation text and counter histories from its event fields. No page view is sent on initial load before your choice.
Your browser’s normal network metadata may accompany analytics requests. You can disable analytics in Settings; this stops site analytics and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site. The analytics preference is stored in your browser. Enabling analytics does not make a private profile public.
Offline reading and essential storage
Offline reading saves only public reading pages, app files and artwork on this device. Profile, recovery and admin API responses are excluded from offline caches. Remove saved reading in Settings without deleting your progress. Saved profiles need a connection for counters, points and account changes.
Hosting and service logs may contain request metadata needed to operate the site. This page describes application behavior; it does not promise that infrastructure keeps no logs.
